HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

Your responsibilities
You will be part of the HVDC Project Engineering Management team.
Lead the global team of HVDC Project Interface Managers & Tenders (PIM).
Develop the PIM role, responsibilities, competencies and career path.
Manage, balance and review the Engineering global project Interface management portfolio with respect to scope, time and cost from tender to EPC delivery and handover to customer and warranty.
Develop an efficient way to cover the complete tender portfolio from the perspective to maximize value, to start up execution of projects. with limiting tender costs and resources necessary in tenders.
Your background
You have at least 10 years of experience of HVDC technology and EPC projects.
Preferably you have worked with different parts of the HVDC engineering delivery chain (production, product management, system design, testing, procurement and commissioning).
5-10 years' experience of people development.
University degree (MSc) in engineering.
Experience of commercial drivers, terms and conditions in EPC projects.
Fluency in English is required whereas Swedish and other languages are considered as a merit.
