About the job
In this central position, you're an important member of our site management team, and you support and advise us towards strategic and successful financial operations and decision making. You and your team have a key role in analyzing, reporting, consolidating and forecasting the performances and results of our site, and you provide both ad hoc and proactive input related to outcomes, budgets and KPI development. This is of course done in a timely manner and according to applicable financial rules and regulations. To prepare investment business cases, engage in discussions and contribute with your financial knowledge in various change and development projects are other important parts of your job. You also look at financial trends and possible impacts to the business, as well as market development - including automation and technical improvements of financial processes - to make sure we stay on top of our game.
Acting in a global business environment with diverse cultural and economic challenges, you're the number one promoter of excellent collaborations. For us, this means developing a strong and cohesive team, where hard work and laughter goes hand in hand, and where we build good relations with our stakeholders and the wider organization. You also work closely with other Sandvik Coromant production units to find synergies and share best practices. By doing so, we aim to create true understanding of numbers and figures, and deliver the absolute best and most reliable financial information to the Gimo production site.
About you
We're looking for an experienced and motivational business leader - someone who inspires and develops individuals based on the unique capabilities they bring to the table. You have previously managed teams in global and diverse environments, and your career includes broad experience from controlling and stakeholder interactions - preferably within manufacturing. Your strong financial knowledge of principles, rules and processes is grounded by a relevant degree, most likely within Economics or Finance, and as we're truly international, you need to communicate fluently in both English and Swedish.
Along with your drive and ability to always grasp the bigger picture, you're also analytical and innovative. You challenge us to look at new perspectives and seize opportunities, and you want to explore how we can become even more accurate and efficient. You're known for building a collaborative and open culture based on trust and integrity, and you communicate in a confident, structured and informative way that bring people on board. All in all, an enthusiastic and passionate leader, and a true role model for our site!
