Who are we?
The Product Development unit is developing complete powertrain systems for industrial and marine applications. Our Design Department consisting of mechanical and electrical design for whole engine, after treatment, and transmission systems are now looking for a manager for our Exhaust After Treatment Department.
The department is responsible for the development of Volvo Penta's Exhaust After treatment systems and consists of 15 engineers. The mission in this role is to keep a holistic view of our products, taking care of all the different stages in the product life cycles from new development projects and product maintenance. A key part of the work is also to set the scene for strategies in exhaust after treatment and providing input to our technology plans. You will have an extensive net of contacts within the company and by that we are putting value in your personal profile in networking and being the centre of topics concerning your technical area.
Job description:
Lead the Exhaust Aftertreatment System team by developing others and take an active part of the Design Management team
Lead the development of new technologies and strategies in marine and industrial applications
Full engineering responsibility of your products and its features
Knowledgeable about your products behaviour and performance in the hands of the customers
Financial responsibility for smaller projects and Opex department budget

Who are you?

Qualifications
Msc in Engineering or equivalent education
Good knowledge of engine and exhaust after treatment system development, project management and the development processes
Knowledge of diesel engines, marine environment and mechatronics
Systematic & structured way of working
Swedish and English
