Manager Epiroc University
Epiroc University is a company university who works in close collaboration with the business to develop learning activities in line with Epiroc strategies and values. Needs for learning and development will come from different parts of the organization, both globally, regionally and locally. Today, the team consists of both Learning and Development Professionals and University Coordinators located in Örebro, Garland (US) and Nanjing (China), total 12.
Job description
The role is a combination of operational and strategic challenges with strong focus on leadership and includes cost and revenue responsibility for your organization. The Mission of Epiroc University is to develop and design learning activities in close collaboration with course owners from the business responsible of the content, in line with business needs. The pedagogical approach is one important step in the design so the target group effectively can utilize the training. We contribute with our knowledge of the technical possibilities as well as our expertise in pedagogy. Our responsibility includes procurement and together with course owner ongoing work with suppliers to ensure good quality. You will work close to our Process and System Expert, Learning & Development who is responsible of the roadmap in the area. Other contacts are Manager Technical training responsible for internal training our service technicians and representatives from our Functional Councils and Divisions. The role is based in Örebro, Sweden and you report to Global Manager Shared Service HR.

Your mission is to lead and develop Epiroc University to be an agile partner who provides easy to use solutions with focus on end-user experience by efficient and innovative processes and tools. Target: High and appreciated consumption of learning offered to our employees; strengthen the culture of learning in the company.

You have a business mindset, which means that you are service oriented and quickly understand the needs of the company and are driven by offering effective solutions for both the global and local environment. As a person, you are analytical placed with great drive and flexibility, which means you can switch between the big and small issues that we face daily. You are outgoing and equipped with good communicative ability. You have a keen interest in the learning and development area and how the team can contribute with value-added activities to Epiroc's development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in relevant area. You have good knowledge and experience as a leader and you are used to working with colleagues from different cultures. Experience in project management and negotiations with suppliers is a requirement. We place great emphasis on knowledge in online training and pedagogy as well as deep interest in how digitalization can continue to develop our business. Very good knowledge of English both in speech and writing is a requirement, Swedish is plus.
