QlikTech Engineering Operations implement and are in charge of the daily operation of systems and software used by QlikTech R&D to develop the QlikTech product, QlikView. We use Microsoft Team Foundation Server as an overall system solution, but also Automated Build Studio for automated building and TestComplete for automated testing. For bug corrections and test, we use Microsoft Symbol Server.
As a Manager Engineering Operations and team member of our rapidly growing R&D department in Lund, you will have significant impact on our company?s growth and success and you will be working with leading edge technology.
Your responsibilities
As Manager of Engineering Operations you are responsible for the planning of the infrastructure, the daily operation and maintenance of the QlikTech R&D department?s systems. This includes the systems for building the released software, the systems for managing the development work at the QlikTech R&D department, and the systems for testing software as well as storage of these systems.
You are also responsible for build management and maintenance. You will be part of securing and formalizing the entire IT infrastructure of QlikTech.
You will manage a group of 3 people and report to the top management of QlikTech R&D.
Your profile
We are looking for a proactive, accurate, structured and service minded problem solver with integrity and expertise in the Windows environment. You are a positive and outgoing team player with excellent command in English, since English is the corporate language. You have strong leadership skills and are used to work with situational leadership in an environment that moves very fast.
You are an MSc in Computer Science, computer engineering or similar. You have solid experience from driving and implementing Virtualization and deep knowledge of Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio. Experience from working with ITIL is an advantage. You preferably have a background in IT and software development with at least 5 years of experience.
