The fantastic job - what you will do with us!
As a Manager Engineering in Umeå, you work with your team towards a selected area in the factory. The job requires good communication skills to establish relationships within the Umeå factory but also with our colleagues in other European factories. As a Manager Engineering, you are expected to provide our factory's input on issues related to technical parts, both for the product and for the process.
The main responsibility lies in preparing production for product and process changes both continuously and in the long term, we create conditions for the employees who build the parts for the trucks, by seeing and creating an understanding of their needs.

You are a curious and engaged leader who leads with passion and enjoy performing through your team. You are good at communicating and like to build relationships with different types of people and see the benefits in teamwork. You are fun to work with and you would love to explore new grounds within Production Engineering. You have a strong interest in production development and are interested in taking on upcoming challenges in the automotive industry.
We think that you are a good problem solver with the goal of finding improvements and solutions to drive the factory forward. You work without prestige, fact-based and it is easy to see situations from different perspectives and from that arrive at the root cause. You are motivated by constantly developing yourself, your environment and your team.
Required knowledge/experience
You have a passion for developing people, operations and product and are a communicative team player that values the full diversity of the team.
Minimum three years of previous leader experience
Most of your meetings and emails will be in English, hence you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English and Swedish
Engineering & technology interest
A BSc or MSc Engineering or equivalent work life experience
