hela Sverige We are looking for a line manager to help strengthen one of our teams within Embedded Software. As a test manager you will be responsible for a test team within the Embedded Software organization
Your role
* You will lead a team of test engineers.
* As a line manager you will support the team in conducting test activities.
* You also take an active part in improving the way work is conducted to further improve performance of the group.
* You will lead your team according to Saab values Drive, Expertise and Trust.
* Develop and sustain test engineering knowledge.
* You are responsible for personnel related matters such as securing the competence of the team, recruiting personnel as required; evaluate team member performance and setting salaries and working environment.
* You will report to the Head of Embedded Software.
Your profile

Required skills:
* University degree with computer science background
* Proven leadership qualities and experience of leading people, with particular focus on HOW. That is a strong value-based leadership in accordance with Saab values.
* Skills in communicating effectively across different teams, countries and cultures.
* Willingness and proven ability to manage complexity and to drive change
* Strong technical interest
* Structured in your work
* Show drive, be pro-active and have ability for self-management.
* Fluent in both written and spoken English
The position as Manager Embedded Software is stationed at our headquarters in Huskvarna, Sweden.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of the Embedded Software organization within Training & Simulation unit who develops and manufactures training systems mainly for military users. The team you will join consists primarily of test engineers based in Huskvarna. Training and Simulation is part of the Business Area Dynamics .
