At our Innovation Centre in Sweden, you will find the opportunity to develop your leadership and team management skills with a group of engineers involved in digital, analog and efficient power supplies design, as well as in communication protocols for both wired and wireless solutions for our Radar sensors. What You Will Do
In this position, you will have a number of direct reports. You will be a part of the Electronics and Microwave team, which is responsible for all technology used in System components, Radars and piezoelectric electronics for vibrating structures. As a Manager Electrical Engineering you will:
Be responsible for the personnel reporting to you as employees, contractors and trainees. This includes activities such as recruiting, competence development and support to fulfill objectives.
Be Functional lead on electronics design deliverables. As such, you drive for results that meet the requirements of quality.
Work for the team Operational implementation in order to secure aligned plans and objectives, but also on technical implementation of architecture and platforming across product programs.
Build Culture by leading through example. We want secure cross functional cooperation with other functions and cross locations. Good teamwork, communications and creative workspace is key.
Develop team Structure by improve and make our design methods and work procedures more efficient. You will start, drive and maintain initiatives to increase the organization capability.
Who You Are
The group Electrical and Microwave Engineering encompasses all electrical on electronics aspects of engineering and development. From passive microwave structures such as antennas and waveguides, through front-end modules, signal processing hardware on microcontroller boards, power supplies and communication interfaces, wired and wireless. The team is involved in the whole development process and requires a lot of co-ordination with other groups and departments. Succes factors for this role:
You have a university degree, such as a Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or similar.
It is a requirement that you have experience in product development within electronics, design of PCBs and associated manufacturing processes.
Experience in team leading or in a managerial position will be considered a merit.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, since our business environment is international. Communication skills in Swedish is a merit.
You have a technical interest and efficiently plan and prioritize your work. You have good interpersonal skills, enjoy to build and to be part of a team. Also, you are willing to receive and grow into new areas of responsibility.

The location for this position is in Linköping with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.
