You will have a leading people responsibility
The Product Development unit is developing complete power systems for industrial and marine applications. The Design engineering department is responsible for the mechanical and electrical system and the control system for the whole driveline system. Our everyday opportunity and challenge is to both perform to keep today's products competitive and transform to create new solutions for our customers - both on land and at sea. When targeting the next generation products and solutions the focus and demands increase on the electrical systems, electrical control systems and development and test environment.
The Electrical & Test team is a newly created team located in Gothenburg. It is a committed and proud team with electrical test environment and electrical system and component competence. The team is responsible for the test environment for the electronic control system, securing both uptime and development of the test environment. The team has responsibility for electrical hardware design, such as electrical harness and power supply components and systems, for Marine and Industrial applications throughout all the phases in the product lifecycle. The team contributes to roadmaps for new technologies and is responsible for requirement, development, documentation, verification and validation in product projects and maintenance as well as taking care of feedback from the market. You will have an operative and strategic responsibility
You will lead and develop the team as well as each individual in the team. You will take an active role in the management team and drive improvements both on a team level and on an organization level.

You will also:
Have engineering responsibility of the products, its features, behavior and performance in the hands of the customer as well as being the center of topics concerning your technical area
Have responsibility for the electrical test environment, uptime and development and being the center of expertise
Secure the team competence and delivery to meet project targets, keep a holistic view of the products and the test environment and contribute to product strategies and technology roadmaps
Have financial responsibility for department budget as well as smaller projects
Secure the communication interface and way of working with the stakeholders
Are we the perfect match?
You have leadership experience and a genuine interest in inspiring and developing people. You have knowledge of control system test environment and verification methods and you have experience in product development and project management areas. You have a drive to develop your team, the organization and yourself. You are the person who acts with a clear sense of ownership and you have strong networking and communication skills, English and Swedish. In addition we believe you have an academic education within the engineering area.
