JOB DESCRIPTION
Service Market Technology is now looking for a Manager for Diagnostics & Embedded Systems (D&ES).
The D&ES group is structured in two areas divided on approximately 10 members with some additional work packages. From a technology perspective, it could be considered a mix between IT system and automotive electrical engineering development.
THINGS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
In this position you will be the product owner for off-board diagnostics and embedded systems. You will define, agree, communicate and execute strategies. You and your team are a vital part of the Volvo Bus value chain which means that you will need to agree on your deliverables with stakeholders and then deliver on these commitments. We are also a global organization which will require you to secure common ways of working globally.
THIS PROBABLY DEFINES YOU
Experience from line management position, preferably with agile experiences
Extensive diagnostic and embedded system knowledge and understanding
Minimum five years of experience from aftermarket and/or product development within the automotive industry
Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent competence
Strong leadership and communication skills
High integrity, trust and ability to follow through
Experience from working with continuous improvement processes
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
In this position you will be a member of the Service Market Technology global management team and report to the Head of Service Market Technology.
