hela Sverige you will focus on the visual development of the product, and work closely with the Producer(s), Creative Director and Leads Group to ensure the quality and integrity of the product meets or exceeds product vision, and pushes the boundaries of competitive visual quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Support Creative Director, PM and Project Director to assemble a quality team, ensuring individual contribution and track leadership creates the best work
• Lead and motivate the art team to realize overall goals and deliver a successful project on time
• Assist the Project Manager in the creation and overall management of the art schedule and resource plans
• Provide direction to Designers and Senior Designers
• Meticulous organization skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Creative vision, user experience, visual and motion design, and asset production. Designers should be versatile and multi-faceted
• A deep understanding of web technologies and a strong grasp of the tools is expected
• Create layouts applying design principles such as color, typography, photographic selection, organizing elements and usability
• Strong knowledge in areas of typography and design
• Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, color and other ingredients appropriately to create innovative visual solutions that meet business and user needs
• Present ideas with rationale to senior leadership
• Develop style of the presentation for existing concepts/directions. Determine best format to execute upon ideas
• Ensure quality and prepare deliverable for handoff to developers, printers, client, etc.
• Evaluate a brand?s visual language (color palette, logo, font, etc.) across a range of media (print, online marketing, Web site, packaging, etc.) and share insights with the team.
• Compare the brand?s expression across different channels and identify consistencies & inconsistencies, etc.
• Sketch logo and wordmark
• Explore typographic, photographic and color treatments for the brand
• Document stylistic rules appropriate for the brand and the audience of the medium with oversight including color palette, typography and logo/wordmark guidelines
Job Requirements
• BFA or MFA preferred from art school or accredited art program within university
• Minimum 6 years of industry experience
• Strong design portfolio with 4-6 years education
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail is a must
• A solid knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs: Mac OS, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.
• A solid understanding of online and offline production
• Passion for design and eagerness to mentor and elevate with other creative people
• Self-motivated, organized and accountable
• Experience leading a team of designers, art directors, production specialists and writers to creative excellence
• Well-developed communication skills including ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to other team members and client
• Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of Flash, Ajax, Flex, and other emerging platforms
• A solid understanding of Informational architecture practices
• Worked in a large group environment of 10+
• Some travel may be required
