We, at Digital Engineering (DE), are on a mission to drive the digitalization journey for Group Trucks Technology. We work tight together with stakeholders across several Business Areas and Truck Divisions. Within our responsibilities, we are driving the development of tools and methods to improve the overall R&D efficiency and enable the digitalization of the company. We also deliver R&D unique infrastructure to support our product development and ensures that reporting is done according to set rules and standards to be compliant with legislations.

Your responsibilities as Manager Data and Simulation platforms:
The Manager Data and Simulation platforms will secure capabilities, capacity and operation of HPC - High Performance Computing, Data Analytics / Data Storage and other High End IT platforms, to support "Data and Virtual driven Product development" for our RnD organization.
We're looking for a leader in our global team of experts in system administration, architecture and operation of HPC - High Power Computing and High end storage, Data Engineering/Data Analytics platforms, to work closely with our Solution Business Owners in CAE and Data Engineering & Analytics area, to support services and product development within the Group.
In this role, you'll see a direct link between your work, company growth, and user satisfaction.
You'll work with some of the brightest minds in the industry, you will use cutting edge technology, and see your efforts affect products and people on a regular basis. The perfect candidate will have strong High End Computing / Data platforms management and operation skills, a proven track record of leading and scaling system operation and support teams, strong operational skills to drive efficiency and speed, strong project management leadership, and a strong vision for how virtual and data driven development can proactively improve companies.
This means:
Breaking down high-level business needs together with our stakeholders to a level where it can be translated in to HPC, Data Solutions and Data Platforms roadmaps, capacity and operation.
Securing implementation and alignment to the Group Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations and Cyber Security principals
Collaborate with the CAE and Data Platforms team in securing the creation and maintenance of the efficient Data Solutions and Data Platforms.
Responsibility for the budget and sourcing of services and equipment within the scope.
Functional management of global teams and line responsibility for the local SE-GOT team
Make sure there's room for the team to focus on innovation and stay up to date with the best tools in the market.
Build and develop the team's health, happiness, motivation, and growth.
You are a member of the Digital Engineering - Data Platforms & Infrastructure Leadership Team.

Other qualifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Physics, Business Administration or equivalent
10+ years' experience within IT Operations an IT Infrastructure in complex and dynamics environment like High Performance Computing, high end storage, Data Analytics, AI/ML etc..
Experience of agile methods such as SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe framework
Minimum 3 years of experience from Line Management- leading global teams
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent in team and community development and interest in how each person can contribute to the team.
