Your future team
You will be part of the Infrastructure & IT Operations department and manager our Core Infrastructure team, you and the team will own the of Axis global Core Infrastructure. Your team consist of approx. 8 colleagues, who holds the responsibility of securing the future development and strategy for our Core Infrastructure. We hope you share the same passion as we do for technology and technology development. Together with the team you will deliver strategies and tactical plans to provide Axis with a highly secure, available & reliable infrastructure.
What will you do here?
As Manager for the Core Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for a highly skilled team of technicians, developing the global Core Infrastructure. In this position you will have the opportunity to lead a team who set the strategic direction of our global Infrastructure. You will lead in a technical complex environment, meaning you need the ability to prioritize and manage expectations between many different technical initiatives. The Core Infrastructure team within Axis is truly cross functional, working very close with all parts of the business, so you need to enjoy networking understand Axis business requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Recruiting, coaching and develop the Core Infrastructure team.
* Establish Roadmaps and goals of function.
* Develop business case together with your team & business stakeholders.
* Ensure that you teams PoC' & projects meet expected results and business objectives.
* Understand business requirements and how these could be turned into technical strategic plans.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a university degree or similar and that you have experience as a manager or in a leadership position, preferably in an IT environment. You feel at home in a global, everchanging environment and the complexity that comes with it. In addition to that we are looking for someone who is a team player but can work independently if needed. Most important, you are an open and driven person with a genuine interest in people and making a difference.
We believe you will need some of the skills below:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
* Experience of management and the ability to build a strong technical team
* Experience in Vendor Management and Technical Management
* Experience to communicate in a multi-national organization, with strong networking capabilities
* Comprehensive understanding of the complexities in a global IT environment
* Self-motivated with a business oriented mindset
