hela Sverige The department Control Systems is organized within the product development organization of global trucks technology in Gothenburg. Within the Control Systems department we work with development and design of electronic control systems for Volvo's heavy and medium duty diesel engines and transmissions. Our main customers are the different brands within Volvo group.
Our specific responsibility is to develop control systems for driveline management which includes engines, transmission and exhaust after treatment. This includes development of electronics and software as well as calibration for different applications. It is a rapidly growing area within product development.
Job Description
The work is performed in an international environment together with our colleagues in France, Japan, Brazil and the US. Many activities are performed across the different sites. As a manager for this team you will focus a lot on cooperation as well as the networking with the different customers within the global Volvo community.
The team is responsible for development of electronic components such as control units, sensors, starter motors and wire & harness..

We are looking for a new leader for the team that is comfortable leading change, customer focused, collaborative and supportive and a good coach for the team and team members. We believe that you have previous experience from being a leader in any form. Preferable you also have experience from development of control systems and applying agile and lean principles in a practical way.
