In this role, you will lead and support the development and formation of Consumer Connected Services, and form part of the IT Mgmt Team.
You will have the opportunities to build and manage connectivity competency, combine technology with business initiatives to provide real value add. You will initiate and manage strategic and tactical work streams to develop and then maintain new and existing solutions and services.
This is a unique opportunity to develop the required capabilities, competency and organisational structure within the connectivity arena as the brand is formed from our Volvo heritage to a pure, progressive, performant brand.
You will report to the CIO, work very close to the Customer Services team, have a close alignment to appropriate VCC functions to build and develop up the Volvo products and technology.
The key responsibilities are grouped into the three areas of focus for the role: Innovation, Delivery and Support.
To be successful in this role, it 's important that you have a good understanding of Project, Programme Management as part of a global business. You will have a proven background in a Connectivity Service delivery and support environment.
We also like you to have:
• A strong track record of performing a similar role, with demonstrable skills managing and delivering technology enabled projects
• Project / Portfolio Management experience (at least 5 years)
• A proven track record leading & managing teams within a project delivery or IT development environment
• Good experience in successfully delivering within a digital environment and up-to date digital knowledge skill set including the principles of AGILE
You are ideally educated to degree level or a recognized professional qualification.
