At HR Services we are responsible for providing the Volvo group with efficient and high-quality services within the administrative HR area. We are a team of 350 employees in eight countries. From our Shared Service Center (SSC) in Poland we deliver global support to the full Volvo group, and in our clusters, we deliver country specific HR administrative support. The areas we support in are: Contact center, Workforce, Compensation & Benefits administration, International Mobility and Recruiting services.
We are currently recruiting a manager to the Compensation& Benefits and Time team at HR Services Sweden. You will be part of HR Services North EMEA Management Team and report to VP HRS North EMEA.

HR Services is located just by the seashore at Arendal, Gothenburg. We are about 50 employees serving the Volvo group in Sweden with HR administration, recruitment, and international mobility services. This is also where we have our global head office.
The C&B and Time team consists of eleven engaged and knowledgeable employees responsible for providing support and competence within a broad area. You and your team members are responsible for:
HR reporting
Payroll maintenance management
Pension and Insurance
Time keeping administration
My Benefits portal - employee communication portal
Key user activities for Local IT Systems
LAS (total employment time within the Volvo group)
HR project coordination, including industrial worker salary revision
Within the team we work on both an operative and strategic level. Several of our team members are experts within their field with many years of experience. There is a close cooperation with the department delivering services with the Personnel administration and HR Contact center area.

We are looking for a customer and quality-oriented line manager with the ability to provide inspiring leadership, focusing on employee engagement and taking the full responsibility to lead the team forward. You see the importance of effective teams where people take pride in being responsible for their deliveries and help each other to reach success.
In line with HR Services target image and strategic objectives you and your team determine the departments objectives with the focus of providing innovative, optimized and quality assured services to our customers. You are responsible for planning, developing and executing the daily operation in the team. You and the team interact with many stakeholders including our Shared Service Center in Poland, HR Center of expertise, IT organizations, our external suppliers within payroll and pension administration and, of course, our customers.
Furthermore, you ensure the continuous improvement, implementation and optimization (digitalization) of our deliveries. You inspire your team members to further develop themselves and you keep them motivated for an efficient and pleasant cooperation. Together with the team you ensure we deliver services according to Swedish law, agreements and policies. And, lastly, since parts of our delivery is outsourced, you are also responsible for vendor management.

Leadership experience of building efficient and highly engaged team
Knowledge within the Compensation, Benefits and Time area
Structured and organized, process oriented, with experience of working with lean methods and tools
Customer focused with the ability to build relations and a proactive engagement with stakeholders
Strong communication skills, including an excellent level of verbal and written English and Swedish
Change management skills
IT knowledge and interest are important to succeed in this role
Experience from Shared Service operations preferably within the HR area
University degree in Business Administration, HR or equivalent experience
