The Manager of Corporate Public Relations and Communication will contribute to Galderma's growth and success by developing and managing effective internal and external communications and digital programs. These programs will strategically enhance our image and reputation through public relations and initiatives. Furthermore, you will lead the company's communications, public relations and digital strategies internally and externally for our global aesthetics business as well as supporting the sales team in the Nordic region, and the Uppsala manufacturing site.
About the role
The PR and Communications Manager will contribute fully to planning and implementing proactive and reactive external communications/PR strategies for the global Aesthetics business and for the Nordic sales business and the Uppsala site, focusing on general interest, business, healthcare and financial media, but also targeting publications appropriate to business-unit marketing objectives. He/she will be responsible for the following:
* Direct the planning, preparation, and distribution of news releases relating to Galderma Serve as a key spokesperson and media liaison for the local Uppsala site;
* Foster broad-based awareness of Galderma's leadership position in Aesthetics with important audiences through media relations and other communications initiatives;
The Manager of Communications will develop, implement, overview and measure an internal communications strategy and plan for the Uppsala site, working closely with the site manager, as well as for the global Aesthetics business, working closely with global Aesthetics business leader and leadership team. The candidate will also have the responsibility for driving Galderma's digital competitiveness and enable insights driven decision making, so the company continues to bring innovative products, services and solutions to people and patients.
Working closely with the global digital team, the candidate will be responsible for driving the creation of excellent customer experience across relevant digital platforms for Galderma in the Nordics across all brands in close collaboration with the brand teams in addition to managing and driving digital activities, in close collaboration with the global marketing team, for the global Aesthetics SIG.
About you
To be successful in this role we think that you have the following skills and competences:
* Degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
* Minimum 10 years in a broad Communications/PR role
* Experience in managing external communications suppliers
* Experience working in a matrix organization in an international environment
It is preferable if you have the following experience:
* Experience in the medical - consumer healthcare field
* Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
* Superior oral and written communication skills
* Swedish mother tongue with excellent knowledge of English.
