The Section Cockpit & Surface Materials is responsible for developing dashboards, tunnel console, CCB and surface material and we are also responsible for the integration within the Cockpit.
We are now looking for a group manager Cockpit Integration & Cross Car Beam that will inspire the group members with enthusiasm, that will be interested in and contribute to the management group of Cockpit & Surface Materials.
The group is responsible for the design and development concepts for early predevelopment phases for CCB and for the integration of all internal parts and external parts.
The work is conducted in line organization and in cross-technical project team in close cooperation with suppliers and in different platforms in cars.
Our participation in the development process extend from initial concept and feasibility study phases by the projects and finally to a production introduction.
We are responsible for staffing our projects with both mission leaders and technicians.
Key product features are CCB in different structural materials and the total responsibility for the Integration work. Today and in future development.
Main responsibilities
* The Groupmanager is responsible for the group Cockpit Integration & Cross Car Beam to deliver in accordance with the business plan and policies and procedures for Volvo Car Cooperation.
* Lead the group in a creative environment were you contribute to our customers care experience.
* Responsible to give your groupmembers the prerequisites for them to develop their competens and skills in a wished direction and that the right competense are maintained over time.
* Product responsibility for the groups delivery from predevelopment to running production.
* Technical responsible for Cockpit Integration & Cross Car Beam within Interior & Climate
* Improve and develop Cockpit Integration & Cross Car Beam strategies
Required qualifications:
* Master of science, Technical University degree or several years of relevant experience
* Experience of working with integration and development of parts.
* Ability to plan, drive and follow up your own and your groups work tasks against common goals
* Ability to show courage and to build trust
* Good interpersonal skills
* Good communication skills
* Drivers license
