As the Manager of Cloud Governance at Klarna you are accountable for leading the adoption of Cloud services for Klarna's platform across the engineering organisation.
You will be part of the Engineering Efficiency group and the role will require working across and collaboratively with our 40+ engineering teams, product, operations and infrastructure teams to plan, choreograph and coordinate our cloud adoption for our micro services based platform.
You will have a strong engineering and cloud services background. You can take a holistic view of the architecture and deep dive into technical details, assess what's really going on and offer guidance and direction to assure the best adoption of cloud services across many teams. You quickly establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders and our most technical teams.
You will have clear, concise and compelling communication skills with the ability to tune your message and hold your ground to resonate with execs, stakeholders or engineers.
You will have strong evidence of influence, leadership and delivery of running Services in a Cloud environment.
The role is based at Klarna HQ in Stockholm, reporting directly to the VP Engineering.

Responsibilities:
You are responsible for our Cloud Strategy and Planning and work closely with our vendors and the engineering leadership team to provide guidance on leveraging the cloud to fulfil business needs.
You take take of cloud vendor support and the relationship. This includes handling of ongoing support incidents, work out capacity planning and recommend cost optimisations and investments
You work closely with our 40+ engineering teams and the vendor to drive infrastructure design reviews and ensure we leverage the cloud's capabilities in the optimal way.
Account management and control - bootstrap new accounts, policies management, enable smooth onboard of new teams and team members to leverage cloud services.
Implement controls around cost and usage controls (KPIs, framework), ensure we follow the various compliance regulations and work closely with our security operations team to implement security controls
Identify and implement cloud automation services that help us keep the cloud environment clean and safe. This includes cleanup jobs, policy controls, backup and data lifecycle management, tagging, naming conventions, etc..
Provide direction and guidance of adopting Cloud Services across all Klarna engineering team.
Establish and manage to KPIs.
Facilitate a collaborative, open and transparent environment.
Proactively communicate with stakeholders and our community to explain what's going on.
Skills and Experience:
More than 5 years experiences of running large scale and transactional services in a Cloud environment.
Demonstrate a progression of scope and variety of leadership, technical and delivery challenges.
Persuasive and compelling communication skills
Proven ability to influence and persuade stakeholders - indirect management, diplomacy and facilitating compromise
Highly analytical and data driven.
Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
