Section Manager Durability CAE Chassi & RLD
At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers over the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As SECTION MANAGER DURABILITY CAE CHASSI & RLD you will be responsible for operational deliveries and development. The group, which consists of 12 people, is responsible for analytical road load analysis (ADAMS etc) of vehicles and for CAE-analysis (FEM) for dimensioning of among other the chassis. The durability department is an attribute center responsible for durability in all Volvo programs. We define requirements and verify vehicle durability by CAE and testing in the lab and at the Proving Ground.
Job profile:
• Responsible for operational deliveries
• Continuously develop and improve the work
• Support and develop the members of your group
Your profile:
• Master of Science in mechanical engineering, engineering physics or equivalent
• Experience from CAE, preferably in Structural Analysis or Durability area
• Experience from product development within the Automotive industry is an advantage
• Preferably previous leader experience
• Interest in continues development of the business
• Driven and able to work towards long term goals
• Good communication skills written and oral in Swedish and English
