Saabs business area Kockums is changing our organization of certain commercial disciplines to make sure best possible contracts are established and well maintained. Within this commercial organization, we are now setting up a new structure for our Bid Office. To lead this, we are looking for an individual with documented experience of working face to face in the commercial interface towards customers on the international arena.
Your role
You will lead the Bid Office with the focus on ensuring;
* Good control of predicted internal costs, bought out cost, strategic suppliers/partners and associated risks
* Well prepared execution plans to contract only deliverable schedules
* Development of proposals that meet customer expectations and enhance win probability
* Well prepared and well negotiated contracts (price, lead time, terms & conditions)
You will lead a team of highly skilled individuals as we are working to further expand and develop in this area.
Main tasks:
* Lead and develop the team to ensure professional development of bids
* Support the team in their internal work and the customer interfaces
* To, when necessary, take active role in customer and partner dialogue and negotiations
* Ensure material for management business decisions is well prepared
* You report to Head of commercial.
Placement for the position is primarily Malmö, however we might be open for placement in Karlskrona. You will have people in your organization placed in both locations. The role will include business travels, both within Sweden and abroad. The amount of travelling will vary depending on business and projects.
Your profile
We are looking for you with the ability to combine good leadership skills with knowledge in the areas of responsibilities. To succeed in this role, you need the ability to rapidly build trust and networks and the skill of bringing stakeholders on board. We believe you feel confident in your role, have integrity and can adjust to the organization without losing focus on your mission.
Since the role includes a large degree of interaction and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders you need to be able to build and develop long term relationships as well as being able to work with various kinds of people at all levels.
Required skills:
* Proven successful experience from leading larger teams
* Financial or legal education
* Experience in the areas within the different responsibilities in the commercial organization
* Legal knowledge and strong understanding of business financials on an international arena
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written. Additional languages is a bonus
* Driving license
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
