As manager for the Bid & Application Specialist team at ABB Motion, you will be responsible of leading the technical back-office team of 10 persons. The team is at the core of what we are doing with deep technical knowledge as well as a very customer oriented mindset. To lead this team, you need to have a technical understanding but not being a specialist yourself. Since the team are cooperating with many stakeholders, customers, internal teams and with the factories, a collaborative mindset is essential to reach success in this position. Both in terms of motivating and inspiring the team but also by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers, as you will be a part of the Local Management Team. With curiosity you constantly seek new opportunities to expand the business and find new solutions to creating a superior customer experience.
Your responsibilities
Lead, coach and motivate the team to give best possible technical solutions and support to our customers
Constants seek new ways of creating a superior customer experience in the dynamic environment we are working in
Further develop the team to secure the technical knowledge and alignment with Motions long term strategy
Secure structured and correct processes are in place including systems and reporting
Active member in the Local Management team
Your background
You possess strong personal drive and are persistent in working towards common targets
A strong track record of leading teams in dynamic environment with proven results
You act with confident when it is needed to develop and strengthen the team in the speed that is needed
You use your communicational and leadership skills to motivate and coach people
Previous experience in managerial positions is required as well as technical understanding
As we are a global company, acting on the local market, you are fluent in Swedish and English
