Automation Solutions in Tetra Pak is now recruiting a new manager to the Tetra PlantMaster platform development team with focus on MES applications within area of plant integration.
We are looking for an outstanding individual to manage development and line manager activities related to Tetra Pak automation platform - Tetra PlantMaster.
Automation Solutions is responsible to develop, roll-out and maintain a world class automation platform used by business units, packaging platforms and market companies in their delivery. The automation platform use external hardware and software and also Tetra Pak created software.
In line with Tetra Pak automation strategy we want to enhance quality, further develop engineering efficiency and increase value added content in our platform. Our plant integration solutions are used in customer projects delivered by Tetra Pak market companies.
The development work in the MES area focus on creating customer applications for production reports, traceability, performance analysis, recipe execution etc.
Main responsibilities
• Lead a team of technical specialists & development engineers
• Secure and grow necessary capabilities with long term perspective in MES & MIS area
• Manage overall technical ownership for Tetra Pak MES applications
• Secure technology best practice and support strategic planning activities such as technical roadmaps for Tetra Pak MES platform
• Ensure quality in development projects
• Manage budgetary work and follow-ups
• Participate as member in different governance and design forums
• Participate in strategic supplier discussions and negotiations
Publiceringsdatum2012-03-28KvalifikationerThis position requires expertise in the following disciplines where you have a documented theoretical education and practical experience:
• Leadership and performance management
• Software development & system architecture
• System integration experience
As a person you are motivated and have high personal drive. You also have good communication and leadership skills. You are good at finding opportunities for improvements in working procedures and drive changes. You are an excellent team player who is able to manage long term relations. A successful candidate should be able to manage a wide technology know-how and ability to understand how customer value can be achieved by using smart software applications, tools and procedures.
You are skilled in English, both written and spoken.
