hela Sverige Designs and develops attachments and special application solutions for the Loader and Hauler Platform products, as well as governs the design and development of all Tires and Wheels technology globally for VCE machines.
Core Responsibilities
Owns and manages the competencies and resources for the platform and provides the support to projects (for Advanced Engineering, New Product Development, and Product Maintenance) in this domain. Responsible for people development and organization effectiveness (i.e. keeping staff highly active on prioritized activities and removing roadblocks to progress)
Accountable for technology platform synergies and increased commonality across multiple product ranges and platforms
Serves as a key interface to CST, Product Platforms, and P&SM, and responsible for the alignment of the technology & commodity synergy initiatives in this domain.
Owns and is accountable for the future development of the Technology Platform and application knowledge in this domain
Acts as a leader and secures handshakes and makes plans with relevant cross-functional leaders to support the overall on-time delivery of the Attachments Product Plan within this domain
Supports and assists in the development of technology strategies for large, medium and small platforms in this domain
Drives use of Volvo standards and develops design procedures and guidelines
Engaged in related industry activities and developments, and engaged in Volvo CE councils and forums as necessar
Manages resources and expense budgets (at multiple design sites) accordingly

Minimum Education Required:
B.Sc Engineering or equivalent
7+ years experience in product development or closely related area
People development and management experience in a global organization
Technical project management experience
Experience leading global teams desirable
Excellent spoken and written English
Travel up to 30%
