Interested in running our Applied Engineering department with maintaining and develop our HVAC and HVDC power cable accessories? Then this is a great opportunity! Leading a great team of design engineers and documentation specialists to meet the high need of adaptation work for the Accessories business line.
Take lead in our applied Engineering projects to customer delivery
In this role you will lead and drive design work of our products for the product portfolio requested by clients and/or Product Management from beginning to end. You will also be responsible for the creation of installation instructions for the product portfolio. You need to have a high focus on task prioritisation and deliver to expected dates.
Your Primary Tasks Will Be
* Lead product adaptation design work for the Alingsås product portfolio requested by clients and/or Product Management.
* Responsible for the creation of installation instructions for the Alingsås product portfolio required to fulfill client and project needs.
* Responsible for the Alingsås product Portfolio product care. Exchange of components/suppliers etc.
* Support other departments with product knowledge, technical clarification etc.
* Responsible for maintaining the CAD data and use of change management process in our Windchill PLM system.
* Lead a great and experienced team of design engineers and document specialists to success.
* Ensure and execute compliance with HSE rules.
* Control internal expenses according to the budget
The position is based in Alingsås.

To succeed in this role you need technical understanding and being able to manage many projects at the same time. If you have experience from Engineering processes and tools, that is a merit, as is experience within cable accessories.
Additionally, Your CV Includes
* Electrical or Mechanical engineer or closely related fields with professional/Industrial experience of +5 years
* Industrial experience in electrical power engineering, distribution and transmission, development and testing of products
* Experience in CAD system such as Solid Works or Creo
* Experience in PLM tool such as Windchill
* Great experience in product development for mechanical and/or electrical components utilizing systematic use of CAD tools for product adaption engineering.
* Creative, independent and solution-oriented approach
* High-level communication skills in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
* Fluency in spoken and written English
