The manager leads the unit which maintains and develops the 24/7 function of IT applications in TDC AB which support all our business processes. Reporting is to Nordic CIO.
The Manger should have a passion for keeping applications in a fully functioning mode.
Welcome to a challenging and very important role!
The main accountability is for our Swedish and common Nordic applications and within Nordic IT we also work in tight cooperation with NIT Managers in Finland and Norway. The AM role in Sweden has a responsibility to secure a harmonized way of working across the three Nordic countries.
Important tasks
• Keep applications working and improve performance over time.
• Keeping stakeholders well informed regarding incidents and changes.
• Personal development of own 14 employees via close dialogue and follow up.
• Hiring and management of consultants to fill gaps.
• Cooperate with Local mangers in Norway and Finland in order to harmonize processes within application management
• Financial accountability for own unit including applications and third party suppliers.
• Strive to reduce total cost continuously.
• Participate in development projects in order to facilitate efficient handover from project to maintenance.
• Implement actions to be ISO 27002 compliant and drive ITIL implementation within Nordic IT in cooperation with IT Services.
You have
• Academic examination in a technical field or corresponding capability via job experience.
• Understanding of IT systems and the connection to TDC:s processes and products.
• Managerial experience with good people orientation.
• A high sense of urgency "real time action" oriented.
• A track record of delivering on promises.
• Had budget responsibility.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.
• Communication and cooperation skills.
The job is located in Häggvik, Sollentuna.
