Scania has been a stable and profitable company since 1891 and we are currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. Sustainability at Scania also includes having a healthy work place with diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities for men and women.
The department Connected Services and Solutions, is an important part of this transformation as Scania's success is depending on services enabled by connectivity and digitalization that support current and future business requirements.

To be successful in Scania's future eco-system, analytics, architecture and compliance are likely to be some of the key areas. We are looking for a manager heading up the group focusing on these areas within Connected Services and Solutions.

What you will be doing
As group manager for Analytics & Architecture, you will be responsible for a group of 10 co-workers.
You will manage a well-established group of colleagues with expertise in analytics, system architecture and compliance. The group also holds the important role of Privacy Officer. Besides coaching and developing team members you will support the team in their collaboration with other teams as well as other key stakeholders within and outside Scania.

The group strengthens the organisation in different ways, through tight cross-functional teamwork, participation in Scania projects as well as running external research projects.

Being part of the section Enablement management team, you will contribute in strategical planning and organisational development and need to be able to zoom out and focus on the bigger picture as well as operational issues.

Who are you
You are a natural and proven servant leader that strives to develop these skills continuously. You have a lot of enthusiasm and the ability to see people and their possibilities and to trust in others. To succeed in this position you need to be strong in building teams, cross-functional work, be communicative, show drive and initiative and be energized by challenges.

To fit into the role we think you also:

• have a proven record of leadership experience
• have a graduate or master's degree in engineering, IT or equivalent
• have more than basic understanding of statistics and analytics
• are fluent in English, good knowledge of Swedish is an advantage

Digitalising the world requires many things! Understanding of both IT and business strategy - and how they interlink - makes it easier. Background in agile software development and a sense for business strategy is therefore meriting.

Since the team, as well as you, rely on cooperation and communication within the organisation you need to be communicative and have an ability to quickly build your personal network.

Our offer
We offer a healthy and inspiring work place where we live and breathe our core value respect for the individual. You will have great opportunities to shape your work and your future. Your personal and professional development is important and something we encourage and support, for example by providing leadership trainings.

In addition to personal and professional development opportunities, benefits such as company leasing car, mutual bonus, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, Scania Job Express.
