The Aftersales Technical Training team in Eskilstuna is responsible for the development of technical training programs for Volvo wheel loaders, articulated haulers, engines, transmissions and systems. The team is also responsible for delivering the training programs to the regional trainers through the Train-the-Trainer process. Each trainer will also deliver a number of training courses to dealer technicians on behalf of the regions both at regional training centers and at dealer locations.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
As the manager of the aftersales technical training team in Eskilstuna you will be responsible for the future development of the team and the training programs. You will work closely with other managers within Competence Development who are responsible for other Volvo CE products.
Your main activities will be:
• Lead the Competence Development Aftersales Technical Training department for WLO, ART, Drivetrain & Systems in the implementation of decided strategies with a focus of utilizing all possible synergies and in accordance with established processes and procedures
• Work closely with other departments to secure consistency within program development
• Work closely with stakeholders to secure efficient cooperation and process implementation
• Support the direct reporting global Aftersales Technical Trainers in the development of their programs and product training network
We are seeking you that will be encouraged by the following responsibilities:
• Manage the development and delivery of the Aftersales Technical Training Programs for WLO, ART, Drivetrain & Systems according to agreed time frames or KPIs
• Establish good cooperation with regional competence development managers within your area of responsibility
• Establish good cooperation with global stakeholders to secure efficient development and on-time delivery of decided programs
• Manage the delivery of global TtT programs in support of the launch process within area of responsibility
• Drive the development of new training concepts for future technologies like electro mobility, hybrid technology etc.
• Establish a budget to support Aftersales Technical Training initiatives and deliverables for WLO, ART, Drivetrain & Systems
• Manage the department within approved budget
• Lead the department based on the Volvo Values
