We are now looking for a Manager Advanced ME Press/Body shop, within Manufacturing Engineering.

Description

The Press & Body shop Department, that you will manage and be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Manufacturing Organization. You will be a part of building up and develop the Press and Body shop Team that will be responsible for all manufacturability assessment, and improving the processes and tools around it. This will influence the Press and Body shop team and in the cross functional work with surrounding areas in the organization.

As a Manager primarily collaborates internally with our R&D center and Manufacturing team in Trollhättan and Tianjin.

We also participate in international projects and your position will complement existing skills and resources, and will be reporting to the Director Manufacturing Engineering.

The role as Manager Press and Body shop involves:

• Manage, develop and inspire our manufacturing engineers, for all challenges
• Build up a strong team spirit with self-motivated mind set and committed to the company's core values
• Working procedure for Continues improvement, planning & follow up, virtual build, six sigma etc.
• Responsible for KPI:s like: FTOK, Ergonomic, Budget, Efficiency,
• Develop processes and routines for the working environment at the department
• Define, maintain and continuously improve engineering and product development processes, guidelines and methodologies in the area
• Responsible for resource planning and prioritization
• Responsible to develop staff, relevant work processes and handle personnel related issues within the team
• Responsible for budget, and secure resources to execute mechanical integration tasks.
• Support mentoring and training activities
• Anchoring the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible management

We are looking for someone who has:

• University Education in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience to manage people and from the automotive industry, at least 10 years
• Experience in Cad modelling. Preferebly Nx & Teamcenter and Microsoft office
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and written form
• Ability to travel
• Driver license B

National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
