We are looking for a General Accounting manager to join our Management team in Corporate and Finance business unit located in Västerås Sweden.
Within the Swedish Common Shared Services Finance, we are more than 25 employees within General Accounting, Accounts receivables, Account payables, credit management and the corporate FP&A team. With our combined experience and expertise, we strive for a spirit of collaboration and trust with other functions and the local business units, who we support and guide in Finance related topics.
Your responsibilities
Manage the daily work for the accounting and tax accounting team
Together with team you will manage the monthly closing and reporting process
Personnel responsibility for 11 experienced, skilled and motivated coworkers
Collaboration with internal- and external audit teams
Manage internal controls within R2R
Review and approvals of general items in a finance organization
Develop processes and initiate needed development
Your background
You have a master's degree in Accounting and relevant experience from accounting and financial reporting, preferably within a Shared Service environment or from a Big Four accounting firm
You have generalist profile with solid people skills, but also in-depth knowledge of accounting rules, IFRS and legal requirements
Knowledge of tax accounting
Great leadership skills and ability to coach and motivate employees to well-being and good results
Experience of working in a multinational environment with different interfaces
Balance of hands on capabilities as well as good perspective of full picture
