The Electrical System Integration department are part of the electrical design unit within R&D. We are responsible for a wide range of interesting areas from the developing and the design process of the electrical system to development of integration test platforms as well as system integration management and configuration management of the complete electrical system. The Group, Electrical Integration Management team, is responsible for the release of a quality assured software for the complete electrical system in our vehicles both during the development phase as well as to end customer vehicles in running production. We own the Functional Implementation/Integration Planning and software integration management process for the complete vehicle.
As Manager you are responsible for an effective integration process, starting from integration content scope, planning leading the integration event and finally reporting the status from the testing activities. The FIP (Functional Implementation Planning) tool and process is an important enabler for all units in R&D to secure synchronised development, delivery and verification from a complete electrical system perspective. Our future vision will deeply affect how we are working with integration and software release.
Main Responsibilities:
* Effective integration process, starting from integration content scope, planning leading the integration event and finally reporting the status from the testing activities
* Technical analysis of incoming deviations from the software-plan plan and recommend countermeasures and actions to improve the situation
* Define integration testing scope based on FIP and Software deliveries
* Prepare, execute and report out result from integration test events
* Participate in analysis of root cause for system errors during integration events
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience in Management and/or Project Management, Team Lead experience
* Experience from Software, functional and system development
* Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture in a vehicle
* Knowledge of System Management
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with System Test, Integration Test
* Knowledge of lean, agile methods and tools
* University Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
* Good general knowledge of base technologies within Hardware/Software Platform
