We are now looking for a manager for a challenging position at IKEA IT's TestCenter team. TestCenter supports more than 300 different IT services and projects in IKEA IT Delivery with test services and tools.
You will be responsible for the test services provided by the TestCenter team, such as Performance Test Service, Test Automation Service, Test Environment Service, Test Tool Service etc. You will also be responsible to establish new test services to support the growing IKEA.
The team consists of 20 co-workers located in Helsingborg, Älmhult and Dortmund. You will have one deputy who has the HR responsibility for 10 of the co-workers. You will be placed in Helsingborg and report to the Prepare Run Department Manager at Production, IKEA IT.
In the matrix organization you will report to the Enterprise Test Manager at IKEA. You will be responsible for HR, budget and delivery aspects of the team. Your role as manager for IKEA IT TestCenter will be to support our IT deliveries with focus on high quality in Production.
You motivate, coach, empower and make your co-workers grow. Being service minded comes natural to you, but you also know when to "draw the line". You uphold and develop ethics and company values and above all, you lead by example.
You will be part of a team with a lot of energy with high service mindset always looking for improvements to support the growing and future IKEA.
ASSIGNMENT

• Manage the team within the given budget frames
• Be an employer representative by communicating and leading in an inspiring way
• Be responsible for leading change
• Be responsible to identify and train potential successors
YOU
• Have at least 2 years management experience, preferably by leading a test organisation or team in a global organization
• Have a solid background (at least 5 years) within the area of test (test environments, tools, methods, and processes)
• Have appropriate university exam or correspondingly working experience in the IT area
• Familiar with HP Centre of Excellence model
• Have great delegation skills
• Have great networking skills and easily builds rapport and trust
• Have knowledge of ITIL V3
• Have knowledge of Quality Assurance
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have great negotiation skills and a selling mind
• Have a strong drive to develop yourself and others
• Have great coaching skills
• Are fluent in English, spoken as well as in writing
• Have knowledge of how to plan in an efficient and cost-conscious way according to strategy
• Knowledge about IT Organization, Strategy, processes and working methods
• Knowledge of communication strategy, plan and channels
• Knowledge of how to handle cultural differences
