Do you want to be in a central position developing the global service market business? Are you an energetic and communicative leader with an entrepreneurial mind-set? Then you could be the right candidate for this position.

From an uptime and a life cycle cost perspective, the service market business is of outmost importance to the customer and to Volvo Buses. Service Market Products is responsible to develop a profitable and available parts assortment and associated uptime services. We anticipate that the service market will go thru more changes and growth in the next five years than it has in the last 30.

As responsible for Service Market Products you will be in a leading position to drive the transformation of Volvo Bus service market and secure its profitability. There are thirteen co-workers in the team that you will be heading, and you report to the Head of Parts & Service (P&S) and are a part of the P&S global management team.

The main areas of responsibilities within Service Market Products are:
Product Management
Develop a healthy and profitable spare parts business.
Logistic Management
Together with GTO-SML (Volvo Group Service Market Logistics) define and implement the logistics strategies for spare parts.
Business Analytics
Analyse data from the Service Market systems and present business strategies.
Price Management
Define prices for Volvo Bus unique parts and monitor common parts with Volvo Trucks.
Uptime Services
Develop and implement uptime related services.
You have a progressive view on what large scale service will have to be in the future in order to meet the uptime requirements of large operators as well as the smaller operators. You will have successfully managed an operation on a global level with a demonstrated ability to deliver results with large cross-functional teams with efficiency, quality, integrity and punctuality.

Required Qualifications
MBA and/or Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years leadership experience within the uptime service production field, likely within an international public transport context or other industry with similar demands (aviation, automotive, marine etc.).
Progressive view on what public transportation uptime services will need to entail in the future
Progressive view on collaboration, preferably experience from an agile work environment (product teams).
Preferably experience from leading change in a complex organization.
Proven ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data and present findings in a structured and professional manner.
Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, motivate, delegate, and prioritize in a high paced and complex business setting.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent verbally and in writing in English.
