JOB DESCRIPTION:
You will manage the Product Specialist team that consists of 12 highly skilled self going individuals that work in an international environment. You are expected to actively develop the Product Specialist role and set goals and strategies that support Products Managements and Axis overall directions.
As a manager for the team you will have the overall responsibility for the operational work within the unit. This includes among others:
• Staff: Motivating your people, planning personnel development, planning resources and setting salary.
• Customer cases: The Products Specialist team solves and prioritizes support cases of a high complexity, escalated from our local support teams worldwide. The products specialists either solve them on their own or in close cooperation with R&D depending on complexity
• Develop tools and processes: Take active part to develop the support processes and tools in order to improve the internal efficiency and the interfaces with other functions in the technical service structure.
• Driving competence: The products specialist team shall create training material, hold special training sessions, write technical notes, FAQs and white papers
• Maintain and develop product functionality: The Product Specialists' helps Product Management to identify, plan and prioritize new and maintaining existing product functionality. Further the Product Specialists' take part in the development project as expert on end user needs and expectations
You are expected to work closely with your team to give guidance and support in the day to day work. The role involves travelling, approximately 30 days a year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The speed within product management is high, decisions in high pace will make it important with a strong and clear leadership. We also believe that you have a service minded attitude and are practical when it comes to technical matters. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with Axis cameras. We believe you have:
• University degree or similar in Engineering
• At least 10 years working experience.
• Well documented success in leading people, we expect 5 years in a manager position.
• Experience of working in an international organization.
• Good technical understanding and experience of customer service in a product organization
• Excellent English skills, written and verbal
• Experience of working in development projects and creating training material is an advantage
