Position Based In Gothenburg, Sweden.

Role:

In the context of Global electro mobility and technology development projects, the Manager - North America electro mobility development, located in Sweden, is part of a multidisciplinary team developing group wide electro mobility solutions ensuring North American cost and performance competitive product offering.

Main Tasks:
• Owns the North American electrical powertrain requirement
• Support Nova/Prevost electro mobility activities and vehicles integration
• Align all projects for electro mobility
• Participate in electro mobility steering group
• Daily communication with Nova/Prevost teams
• Lead issue resolution for Nova Bus / Prevost products line
• Lead powertrain Strategy and product planning
• Participate to VBC Steering group and Product Committee
• Participate with Nova / Prevost product committees

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or software engineering.
• Master's degree in a relevant field, an asset
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electro mobility development
• 3 to 10 years of experience in the automotive or transportation industry
• Experience in vehicle design
• Experience in onboard electronic, software and electric architecture design and specification development is an important asset

Skills and Knowledge:

• Scaled Agile Framework (or SAFe) development framework process is an asset.
• Takes initiative, demonstrates confidence, adapts well and works in a structured way
• Strong interpersonal capabilities and integrity
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good technical understanding of problems
• Pro-activeness and quick learning
• Basic understanding of the architecture and operation of electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid (EV, HEV & PHEV) bus systems
• Knowledge of the automotive or public transit industry (standards, suppliers, customers)
• Knowledge of North American transit requirements and operation
• Knowledge of North American coach requirements and operation
• Bilingualism (English/French), written and spoken, essential. Swedish is an asset
