From an uptime and a life cycle cost perspective, the service market is of outmost importance for the customer and for Volvo Buses. We anticipate that the service market will go through more changes and growth in the next five years than it has in the last 30.
In the development of new technology and products, the Global Service Training department is responsible to produce training material and conduct "train the trainer" activities so that the markets have the knowledge to properly prepare customers and dealers for the Volvo Bus products. The department consists of 10 persons located in Sweden, Poland, India and Mexico. In this role you report to the Head of Parts & Service (P&S) and are a member of the P&S global management team.
The main areas of responsibilities for Global Service Training are:
Training Material Preparation
Create training courses in accordance to projects
Train The Trainer
Prepare and conduct service market training for local trainers and selected Key Customers
Bus Key Technician
Development and supervision of the BKT program

Required Qualifications:
Technical Education
Experience from competence development and training
Fluent in English
Knowledge of Volvo Bus product range is an advantage
Knowledge of Impact and Techtool is an advantage
Knowledge of the development process (DVP) is an advantage
Personal Qualifications:
A genuine interest in automotive and heavy vehicle technology
Strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done, in time and with quality
Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, motivate, delegate, and prioritize in a high paced and complex business setting
Ability to work in a fast moving and multi-cultural environment
Ability to work under pressure and with deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel
