The team Energy Transition leverages a profound understanding of the energy sector combined with high-caliber financial analysis and strategy skills, to be the partner of choice for managing the value of companies and investments in the sector. Role description
You are expected to have an interest in and knowledge of the energy sector. Likely, you have refined your professional skills in a strategic role with high-quality requirements, such as at a management consultancy, a corporate finance firm, or at strategic function at a major energy
You will get the opportunity to work with some of the most complex and
interesting business cases within the energy sector. Their clients include Swedish
and international private equity investors, energy companies and other
corporates, as well as the public sector.
You will also be part of a young, expanding and ambitious ESG business unit and
work in teams across well as independently and you will face clients
regularly. You are expected to be a driven and creative problem solver with a
strong business interest, eager to take on new challenges and you will be
part of a strong social network that works together on interesting and

As part of the Energy Transition team, you will be a natural point of contact for clients, supported by the full range of service offerings to guide the clients in their most critical business decisions.
Specific responsibilities as a Manager
Lead complex client engagements involving both colleagues from Energy Transition as well as other parts.
Build strong client relationships and work together with senior colleagues to drive sales e.g. through identifying add-on sales opportunities on projects and supporting proposal work
Facilitate and lead client meetings
Identify business opportunities and drive the development of our offering as well as our ways of working
Train and coach more junior staff members
Preferred skills
Bachelor's (requirement) or Master's (meriting) degree in appropriate field (e.g. Business Administration, Finance or Engineering) and a strong interest for the energy sector
At least 5 years' experience in analytical work focusing on the energy sector e.g. from a consultancy firm, corporate strategy department or similar
Being used to take on responsibility and managing the day-to-day activities (change & project management, communication, presentation skills, etc)
Strong business acumen with solid stakeholder management skills
Broad experience from the energy and utility industry
Experience of coaching junior colleagues
Thorough interest in the energy industry and in accelerating the energy transition
Highly analytical with a strong ability to solve complex problems
Curious and friendly attitude
Well-developed verbal communication, cooperation and self-leadership skills
