licensees in the drive towards developing a mass market for open mobile phones.
UIQ Technology is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.

About the position:
We are looking for a Delivery Validation Manager for our Delivery Services department.

The Delivery Services department at UIQ Technology is the driving force behind the successful integration of the UIQ software product and the mobile phone manufacturer software. The Delivery Services
department is responsible for the integration and validation of the UIQ products according to customer requirements before delivering it.

The Delivery Validation team's mission is to ensure quality in customer baseline according to customer needs, which include activities such as developing test specifications, setting up the test
environment (both hardware and software), developing automated test scripts, executing manual and automated system tests and handling defects. The work is performed in cooperation with our customers
and the software development department at UIQ.

In this role you will lead and manage a team of highly motivated engineers. We are in an exciting period of growth and your focus will be line management tasks as recruiting, competence development
and process development with the purpose of continuously improving the performance in the organization. You will also be responsible for the improvement of Delivery Services test methodologies and
tools.

Education:

• A university degree in engineering, ideally software related
Experience:

• Experience from management positions in the software or telecom industry
• Successful track record of building team performance, including recruiting and competence development.
• Experience from test and test management tasks
• Experience from leading activities in a process based organization
Personal skills and abilities:

• Ability to structure and organize tasks and processes
• Very good teamwork and coaching skills
• Personality and the ability to handle a fast growing organization with people from different nationalities
• Ability to negotiate and find solutions together with our customers
• Excellent communication in spoken and written English
