At Product Development IT (PD IT), we are responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions where our main users are Reseach & Development. Our responsibility is Scania's CAD/vPDM platform including CATIA, Enovia and Delmia. We are also in the beginning of an exciting journey, going from V5 to the new platform 3DExperience. This will affect 12 000 users worldwide and is a key to success for future product development at Scania.

Your responsibilities
As a Manager of CAD DevOps and TDM Development your tasks typically are:
Motivating, engaging and developing your co-workers.
Create prerequisites for improvement/development within the specific area of DevOps and TDM development (PLM), both in the current platform and the future platform.
Create a common strategy together with your colleagues in both IT and business, communicate it and make sure that your teams are executing it in the right direction.
Lead cross-functional assignments and create value streams with an agile mindset, and enable the teams to deliver value to our end users faster.
Your profile
You are a humble, engaged and experienced leader with a passion to develop people and organizations. You strive for growing as a person together with your teams and you understand and believe in a modern organization and culture where you value people and their possibilities.
You involve your employees when creating business plans with focus and energy. You have the courage to test new ideas and have them tried in short iterations. You continuously change based upon the outcome and you see creativity and enthusiasm as a great way of working.
Building great agile development teams and working in a network organization is a given for you.
You probably have an IT education at university level and/or equivalent experience which has given you the ability to talk in terms of IT matters and understanding the reality of the users. You have a natural understanding of our mission to support the business with superior IT solutions.
A PLM and/or engineering background would also be of great interest.
You continuously work to learn and increase your own knowledge. You understand that knowledge is crucial for our business and you create a climate where the employees can increase and nourish their knowledge.
