hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
We are looking for a dedicated manager, to take the lead and will be responsible for the group that works with design of brake, air, and fuel system for busses.
The technical areas are complex with many physical interfaces, which demands good collaboration all over Scania, all the way from pre development via industrialisation to product follow up. The systems are connecting the chassis and the bus body, so you will work closely with our internal as well as our external body builders worldwide to offer the best complete vehicle to the customer.
The aim is to set the conditions to drive the shift towards sustainable transport solutions, with the focus on gas and electrified vehicles.
What you will do
You will together with the your team consisting of 9 design engineers, support the organisation through exciting times where new technology meets new customer demands, new ways of working meets a modern agile leadership style, all to take place in this "new normal situation".
As a manager you are expected to strongly contribute to the bus development organisation. You are responsible for driving the strategy and implement a safe, efficient and sustainable new way of working.
As a leader, you are a responsive and accessible team player that values collaboration. Together with your team, you drive the technical development forward. You grow with responsibility, have a holistic approach to challenges and manage change in a sustainable manner.
Who you are
You are a natural and proven leader with strong leadership skills. You have a lot of enthusiasm and the ability to see people and their capabilities. To succeed in this position, you are good at building strong teams and a team player with a can-do mentality combined with an analytical mindset and structured way of working. You have a bachelor or a master degree in mechanical design or similar and experience from a management role.
