Within PwC Public Sector, we are around 160 employees that strive to make a difference for our clients and society everyday. Public Sector is divided into two main business areas - audit services and advisory services. We are also responsible for PwC:s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) business. As we want to expand our business, we are now looking for our next associate management consultants to join our Public Sector Advisory Associates team. We strive to be the leading advisor in supporting our clients in a constantly changing society.As an associate within Public Sector Advisory, you will be a part of different project teams. We have experts within a various range of fields including healthcare, education, social care, economic analysis and traditional management consulting. Integrating our expertise in strategic change, process improvement, technology and economic analysis, we provide solutions to our municipalities, country councils, regions and public authorities as they strive to improve delivery of services to the people.
Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Proactively assist the team in various aspects of the project
Prepare deliverables
Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Ensure you are adhering to compliance matters
Work on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand

As an associate, your role often varies depending on the project's nature and complexity, but examples of responsibilities can be compilation and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, participating in client meetings, general project management and arranging/leading workshops.
Associates also support with social and economic analysis, compilation of data and other work.

Preferred skills
We need to strengthen our Public Sector Advisory Associates team with candidates who are passionate about the public sector area and who have an academic degree in economics, business, political science, law or information science. We are looking for applicants who will graduate in summer 2019 or have recently graduated with about 1-2 years of work experience. Experience outside the studies is meritorious, as well as a proven interest for society and/or the public sector. As an associate it is also important to be a good communicator and have social skills, as it will be important to build an external as well as an internal network within PwC. Furthermore, you master Swedish and English in speech and writing. Swedish is our primarily working language.
