Malmö International School - MIS - provides education in English for students aged 6-16. MIS is a place where our aim is that each and every student feels successful, appreciated and involved. The school is an international school where different cultures meet in unity, mutual respect and understanding.
MIS strives to create an atmosphere where intellectual growth, personal reflection and international mindedness are the main concerns of everyone. Our primary goal is to prepare our students for lifelong learning.
MIS adheres to the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes of study: PYP and MYP.
The IB Learner Profile is the core of both programmes.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP 1-6) is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization and is officially an IB World School for students aged 6-12.
After school care is available up to the age of 12.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an authorized IB MYP school for students aged 12-16. The IB MYP is a framework for the curriculum taught and incorporates the Swedish National Curriculum as the basis for the subject content. The students in the MYP receive assessments according to IB criteria together with Swedish grades, which enables them to enter higher education in Sweden and around the world.
At present, MIS is located in the Triangel area of Malmö. However, the plan is to move premises to Elinelund in 2019. The school is publicly funded and founded by the City of Malmö in response to the growing demand for a truly international education. Being publicly funded gives us the opportunity to offer a very high level of education free of any charge.
Publiceringsdatum2018-04-27ArbetsuppgifterAs an administrator you will play a vital role in the workings of the front office/reception. This will include daily contact with students, teachers, parents and visitors. In addition, you will be expected to arrange staff substitutions. You will be working within different systems, for example Extens, HR, Ekot, Skola24 and Platina.
KvalifikationerYou must have completed upper secondary education. You have previous experience in administrative work.
It is beneficial if you have knowledge and experience in different system platforms, for example Extens, HR-systemet HRutan, Ekonomisystemet Ekot, Diariesystem Platina, Skola24.
Experience of working at a school is an advantage.
As a co-worker at Malmo International School it is important that you are service-oriented, structured, flexible and a team player.
Your competence in both Swedish and English are excellent.
