Maintenance Manager to Scania IT

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from heavy truck manufacturer to a provider of sustainable transport solutions. IT is a vital enabler on this change journey. In order to successfully support this, Scania IT has initiated a significant transformation towards improved flow orientation and a focus on agile ways of working. We will now be working more closely with the business and we are aligned with Scania's core processes.

Standardized Interfaces is a team that is highly skilled and committed, with considerable job satisfaction and good opportunities for personal development. We are constantly striving to improve both tool support and work processes. The team consists of 8 people: Architects, Project Manager, Business Developer, Integration Model Designer and maybe soon you - Maintenance Manager!

Your role
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining two important tools within Scania IT, Enterprise Architect by Sparx Systems and the service Central Archiving.
• The tool Enterprise Architect is holding our global architectural repository, which is used for business and IT architecture modelling and analysis. With over 500 users globally at Scania, it is a tool of high relevance. Technically, it is based on an SQL-server solution and has a web front end
• Our archiving service is mostly used for invoices and the ambition is to support archiving for other data types and different performance steps. The responsibility for this tool is within the group Financial Services & Treasury IT, a group close to Standardized Interfaces
Activities include: .leading improvement groups
• planning, implementing and communicating improvements
• managing the licensing, supplier contacts and service agreements
• supporting users in the tool's functionalities
• analyzing and solving incidents and problems

Your profile
It is important that you have the ability to self-initiatives and that you can handle multiple open cases in parallel without losing sight of deadlines and targets. Technically you have an interest in problem analysis, web/html and potentially even in the tools Enterprise Architect by Sparx Systems or Archiving Solutions. To be successful in this role you will need to have good communication skills and proficient in written and spoken English.
