We are building a new plant in Uddevalla which will operate with Scandinavian Enviro Systems leading technology for recovering end of life tyres. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing both the reactive maintenance and planning for preventive maintenance to ensure maximum plant availability, safety, and adherence to budgetary constraints. This role involves meticulous planning of maintenance tasks, spare part budgeting, training of team members, and managing external society. About the role
The Maintenance Manager develops and oversees reactive and preventive maintenance to ensure plant availability, safety, and budget adherence. Responsibilities include planning maintenance tasks, budgeting for spare parts, training team members, and managing external resources to maintain a safe and efficient production environment.
Key responsibilities
Plan and perform reactive maintenance.
Develop and manage a preventive maintenance plan for maximum availability, safety, and budget compliance.
Conduct maintenance and inspections for plant equipment.
Schedule and supervise external resources.
Train the maintenance team in safety procedures and incident reporting.
Track maintenance costs to identify and address issues.
Manage spare parts inventory for mechanical, instrument, electronic, and electrical components.

Qualifications and experience
Experience with pressurized equipment in a process environment.
Strong safety orientation and EHS incident reporting/investigation.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
Proficient in IT and with an open mindset towards new tools.
Knowledge of handling hydrocarbons.
Skilled in Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
Experience with Siemens COMOS MRO system.
Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
Managing and coordinating external maintenance resources.
Cost tracking and analysis at the equipment level.
Fluent in Swedish and English

Tyre Recycling Uddevalla AB is part of a new joint venture initiative, promoted and owned by Antin Infrastructure Partners, a leading infrastructure investment fund, Scandinavian Enviro System, a Swedish technology company that has developed a unique and patented technology for the extraction of carbon black and pyrolysis oil from end-of-life tyres, and Michelin, a leading worldwide manufacturer of tyres. The aim of the joint venture is to create the world's first large-scale tyre recycling group, entirely powered by Enviro proprietary technology and whose first plant is the one being built in Uddevalla.
