As Maintenance Manager you are responsible to ensure cost efficient operations and high reliability for the chlorate and hydrogen peroxide plants in Alby. We aim to reach maintenance in world class at our Maintenance department in Alby, Ånge and are now looking for the new Maintenance Manager responsible to lead, manage and develop the maintenance organization and the maintenance processes at Site Alby. You report directly to the Site Manager and is part of the Site's management team. You are responsible for about 20 people with 10 employees reporting directly, in the areas of maintenance operations, engineering and spare part storage. The Maintenance department includes Planning, Kitting, Maintenance engineering and Warehouse.
This position utilizes sound people management and technical problem solving to preserve and maintain the site's Production units, infrastructure, utilities, and equipment. It requires adherence to global maintenance best practices, including continuous improvement. As Maintenance Manager you are responsible to ensure cost efficient operations and high reliability processes at our Production Sites in Alby. Key objectives are Safety, Efficiency (processes and cost), Quality and Asset integrity.
Main responsibilities
Develops the maintenance processes and the skills of the maintenance department towards world class maintenance according to Nouryons Leading Performance System, ALPS.
Continuously develop and optimize the maintenance processes.
Manage Maintenance costs to ensure adherence to the existing budget. Provide timely and accurate maintenance cost analysis to ensure the budgeting process is accurate and meets the business requirements.
Follow up and act on KPIs specific to the maintenance processes.
Prepare and plan the Maintenance plan and execution
Continuously develop the people in the maintenance organization to fulfil the requirements and secure flexibility in the organization.
Ensures that the maintenance operations are performed according to applicable laws and permits as well as Nouryon policies regarding Health, Safety and Environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the relevant fields, such as mechanical engineering or equivalent
Maintenance Specific education and 5-7 years of experience in the field of maintenance
Skilled and experienced leader
Knowledge and understanding of health, safety, environmental and energy issues
Deep knowledge in SAP PM and workflow is an advantage
Overall knowledge of the disciplines within maintenance
Good understanding of Lean and maintenance processes and tools for root cause problem solving.
Excellent language skills in Swedish and English.

Additional information
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis reporting directly to the Site Manager. The Site is located in Alby, Ånge in Medelpad, Västernorrland. The area in Ljungandalen is very beautiful and lies close to the Härjedalen and Jämtland skiing resorts like Vemdalen and Åre. It has numerous possibilities for outdoor activities like skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, hiking, golfing and hunting for example.
