hela Sverige Are you the manager we are looking for who will lead our maintenance department into the future? The Vara operations is constantly developing our production and utilizing technology and people development to meet our customer needs. The way we conduct and develop our maintenance area is key to reach excellence of our operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of experienced mechanics, electricians and one Engineer. Further develop the people and the team to bring the best out of each individual and ensure Volvo Penta is a good workplace
Plan and align the teams work to conduct urgent, preventive and modifying maintenance
Together with the operation lead the team to develop the maintenance area and a systematic way of working which should create a high utilization of the operation.
Lead change and create engagement in the team
Organize and conduct training to the organization in modern ways of conducting maintenance
Competence profile
You have a strong drive to improve ways of working and create change. We value result orientation and the ability to create clarity. A communicate approach and an eagerness to both listen and pedagogically teach others is needed. Above all we believe you possess the ability to engage and develop individuals and teams.
You have a university degree in Engineering or Automation or similar knowledge and/or experience from manufacturing operations in a plant environment. You have experience from structuring work and improving ways of working as well as leading change. Most certainly you have experience from conducting negotiations and supporting the business. Some formal leader experience is needed for this role.
We also believe you have basic knowledge in Swedish working environment regulations, some knowledge in quality and environmental standards. Language skills in English and Swedish are a must since we are acting in an international environment. Experience from Volvos systems and processes are a merit.
