You will be part of HVDC Service, within the Power Grids division, in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems as well as to interconnect ac networks asynchronously to achieve optimized operation.
The maintenance department lead and support the global execution of long-term service agreements (LTSA). The overall goal is to reach growth milestones in the maintenance and LTSA market, to gain new business opportunities by supporting the tendering activities, efficiently executing service contracts and achieving customer satisfaction. You will be part of an exciting phase to build up and structure a maintenance team in Ludvika, in close collaboration with our Local Service Centers (LCSs). You will report to global Maintenance Service Manager based in Ludvika.
Your responsibilities
Develop harmonized processes, routines, instructions and templates for site work. Feedback & data from the execution of maintenance projects, which will be used for development & improvements of our system design and equipment/products to achieve better operational performance and easy maintenance.
Supervise service engineers during planned maintenance stops at site for ongoing service projects worldwide.
Development of capacity and competence of our service engineers.
Drive/coordinate preparation of annual maintenance stops for our projects and coordinate with global service engineering resources.
Support Local Service Centers (LSCs) around the world during annual maintenance stops, weekly/monthly inspections, training etc. LSCs are responsible for local execution of the maintenance service projects, with processes, routines, instructions, templates & tools needed for creation of new business opportunities and efficient execution of service contracts.
Coordinate maintenance engineering related activities with HVDC's green field EPC project teams during design and execution phases, which are needed for later execution of Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) undertakings.
Analyze data received from maintenance projects and support EPC engineering team on RCM, FMECA etc.
Involvement in development of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Programs (Condition based Monitoring)
Your background
You are a confident person with the ability to strike a balance between strategic, operational and tactical tasks to ensure that they are in line with our business's local and global priorities.
You have good collaboration and communication skills and thrive in a multi-cultural environment.
You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant experience.
You have a minimum 5 years' experience from HV systems, out of which a minimum of two years from maintenance engineering area.
Experience from HVDC or FACTS or substations projects will be an advantage.
You should be fluent in English - written and spoken. Fluent in Swedish will be an advantage.
Expectation on experience from maintenance engineering include the following items:
Preparation of maintenance activities by gathering information from design, OEMs, and executed maintenance service projects and design, which is used for RAM calculations and preparation of maintenance service package/manuals.
Involvement in preparations of documentation package, technical reports, fault analysis and maintain Maintenance Management System. Plan of execution of maintenance contracts for HV systems or systems of similar complexity.
Experience from field operations, installation and commissioning or repair work is required.
Teambuilding skills to promote good relations and synergy both internally and externally.
