Currently the central Mmintenance group consist if approximately 75 employees.
We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager for a group of maintenance engineers in early phases of projects (R&M) and Kaizen improvement work. Today, these departments consist of more than 20 employees.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
* Process responsibility for the R&M process (Reliability and Maintainability) within VCT
* Perform resource planning for all R&M related issues within the unit
* Coordinate the Maintenance Engineers project to reach the targets in the most efficient and effective way
* Follow up the activities and take care of corrective actions if necessary
* Full manager responsibility and assurance of compliance with applicable laws and regulations
* Collaborate with other organizations and leaders within the unit
* Actively participate in the global R&M network within Volvo Cars
* Coordinate all Maintenance Engineers projects and all R&M related issues within a project (both new and/or rebuild of plants/processes/lines) and secure that all demands from the maintenance and production regarding R&M issues are handled
Minimum Qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years in a Leadership/Managerial or Project experience
* Experience and knowledge from Maintenance or Tooling & Equipment functions
* Fluent in Swedish and English, written as well as spoken
Personal Qualities:
* Leadership skills, with the ability to both lead and motivate others
* Service-oriented and high customer focus
* Good collaboration and communication skills
* Analytical and high ability for practical problem solve
