The team you will join consists of 20 Modification and Maintenance Engineers with a broad professional background.
The group is responsible for Modification and Maintenance engineering for the Gripen fighter jet and for Saab's jet trainers and now we are looking for you who would like to become our new colleague. We can offer varied tasks, flexible working hours and personal development. You will get an education package based on your background and experience in order to be tailored for you. You will also get a dedicated mentor from the department who will support you and give you a good start on your new position.
Your role
Your challenge as a Maintenance Engineer will be to develop the Maintenance Solution for the Gripen aircraft. Most of the work are performed in projects together with other units within Saab, and you need to create and uphold good relations with these.
Your main responsibility will be
• Maintenance Engineering on Aircraft Equipment in order to define the impact, develop and sustainment of the Maintenance Solution
• Capability Engineering in order to develop a customer unique support solution for Aircraft
• Participate in level of repair analyses and spare parts recommendations for specific equipment
• Evaluate the support solution to improve supportability in the Operational Phase

Your profile
As a Maintenance Engineer within the team, we are looking for a person that is structured, driven, solution oriented and curious. You bring forward new ideas for the operation and projects. We expect you to be a team player and to appreciate cooperation with others and communication with people.
Required skills:
• You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or longer relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
Desired skills:
• Experience of maintenance engineering
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
