hela Sverige The business unit Gripen Support focuses on support of the Gripen system. We are now strengthening our department Maintenance Production with a radar engineer.
Your role
As part of our team, you will participate in the development and support of maintenance resources for radar devices including both hardware and software. You will work in projects that can include parts such as financial follow-up, purchasing support or project management.
Other main tasks
* Technical support to customers, end users and other Saab entities
* Documentation of work performed to comply with regulatory requirements which also includes work in our MPS system
* Support for the radar workshop with troubleshooting or complex maintenance as well as improvement work
We work with many different avionics systems so the specific work task can be adapted to fit individual skills or knowledge.
Your profile
You have a good ability to carry through your own and others ideas for improvements in the maintenance business. You hold a college or civil engineering degree or equivalent work experience in electronics focusing on RF, as well as a great interest in technology. Should you have experience from working in projects focused on technical development, it is considered an asset.
Excellent skills in English and Swedish, both verbal and in writing, is required.
In order for you to achieve good results, you should act commercially and professionally when in contact with both customers and suppliers.
The work also requires a B driver license, as service missions are included.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

What you will be a part of
The Maintenance Production department is our overall expertise in maintenance, repair and manufacturing. The engineering group in Maintenance Production in Arboga consists of 20 employees who provide technical services primarily to maintenance workshops, but also to customers and other Saab entities. Our maintenance work covers civilian and military avionics, radio, radar and support systems.
Maintenance Production is a part of the business Area Support & Services.
